Bus collides with stationary tempo: Three seriously, more than 20 injured
In an accident between a bus and a tempo, more than 20 passengers were injured and the incident took place near Shirali in Bhatkal taluk on National Highway 66 of Uttara Kannada district.
The accident occurred as a result of the Irrawaddy bus going from Karwar to Mangalore hitting the back of a tempo, more than 50 passengers were traveling in the bus.
Three people sitting in the front seat of the bus sustained serious injuries and were admitted to Bhatkal Government Hospital. There were more than 50 passengers in the bus and luckily there was no loss of life.
Due to the severity of the collision, it has been learned that the front left side of the bus and the rear side of the tempo were heavily damaged. Murudeshwar police have visited the place and checked.
